On 26 October 2023, Mr. Farkhat Tashibayev, the General Director of the "Batumi Oil Terminal" LLC, took part in the “Tbilisi Silk Road Forum”. The official opening ceremony was held at the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre with the participation of the Prime Ministers of Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Montenegro. 

Within the framework of the Forum, ten thematic panel sessions and parallel panel discussions were held on the following topics: the growing role of the "Middle corridor"; the development of transport and logistics links; the financial sector; communications; energy; tourism; technology, and so on. The Forum was founded by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and is held under his patronage. This year, there is an unprecedented high interest in the "Tbilisi Silk Road Forum"; more than 2,000 guests from 60 countries take part in it. The speakers of the panel sessions are high-ranking representatives of the Governments of Europe and Asia.
