Training seminars on occupational safety, health and environmental protection held at Batumi Oil Terminal LLC

In accordance with the requirements of the Organic Law of Georgia “On Labor Safety”, as well as the company’s internal Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Policy, Batumi Oil Terminal LLC (hereinafter — BOT), a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC, conducted scheduled training seminars for the production personnel.

The training program was developed taking into account the specific nature of the company’s operations, the number of employees, working conditions, and the level of occupational risks. It is aimed at enhancing employees’ competencies in the field of industrial and environmental safety.

During the seminars, BOT specialists received training in the following thematic areas:

·         First Aid Provision;

·         Basics of Fire Safety;

·         Emergency Management Plan;

·         Occupational Safety Requirements and Culture;

·         Long-Term Risk Management and Sustainable Development.

The training is organized by the Health, Safety, and Environment Department of BOT and is conducted on a regular basis.

The purpose of the program is to develop employees’ sustainable safe work practices, promote a corporate culture of occupational safety, and strengthen the system for preventing occupational risks.

 Batumi Oil Terminal LLC consistently implements the sustainable development and corporate responsibility policy of JSC KazTransOil, ensuring a high level of industrial safety and compliance with the international HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards.
