President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Meets with the Prime Minister of Georgia on the Margins of the Ashgabat International Forum
On the margins of the Ashgabat International Forum, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
The President noted that Georgia remains a reliable and trusted partner of Kazakhstan in the South Caucasus region. He emphasized the importance of long-standing bilateral cooperation founded on strong relations of friendship and the historical ties between the peoples of the two countries.
Both sides reaffirmed the steady development of political dialogue, as well as close and constructive cooperation in the economic and humanitarian spheres. A wide range of issues related to bilateral cooperation was discussed during the meeting.
President Tokayev highlighted the considerable potential for further expanding cooperation with Georgia in the areas of transport, logistics, and trade.
