In connection with the latest facts published in the Georgian media, Batumi Oil Terminal LLC explains the following,

MINERVA GLORIA (IMO: 9382750), a crude oil tanker sailing under the flag of Malta, arrived at the raid in Batumi on 27.06.22 12:00 from Novorossiysk empty. The cargo owner and shipper of crude oil is Tengizchevroil, a joint Kazakh and American company that develops, produces, and markets oil and related products. Tengizchevroil is the largest oil producing enterprise in Kazakhstan.

Confirmed date for loading of crude oil on the MINERVA GLORIA tanker on the BNT berthless loading on July 01-02, 2022.

The cargo for loading is 83,000 tons of Tengiz crude oil of Kazakh origin. The oil was delivered from Kazakhstan to Georgia by tank wagons by rail and drained into BOT tanks, after loading the tanker will head to the port of Trieste, Italy.

Therefore, the cargo that arrived at the port of Batumi according to the Contract is not subject to Council Regulation (EU) No. fully complies with the sanctions.

Permission for entry of the vessel MINERVA GLORIA for loading in the port of Batumi was issued by the Port State Control and Supervision Service and the Customs Service of Georgia.

Regarding the vessel “NEFTERUDOVOZ 47M”, at the moment, the bulk carrier for the transportation of silicomanganese in the amount of approximately 3,000 tons arrived at the raid in Batumi empty, is in the process of processing documents in the relevant state bodies of Georgia and did not cross the territory of the Batumi port. The consignor is the Zestafon Ferroalloy Plant.
